to dismount while on the bridge. Others comment that the bridge is too narrow, too congested, and
they are concerned for their safety. The university would like to make improvements to the bridge
which will enhance the safety and overall experience for all users. Important considerations include:
Safety for all users,

Reduce speed of cyclists,

Ensure pleasant experience for mobility-impaired users and people pushing

strollers,
Minimize the visual impact to the neighbors, and

Improve the landscaping and overall aesthetics of the bridge and ramp.

In addition to improving the bridge and the section of the Centennial Greenway which crosses the
Danforth Campus, the University also proposes enhancing the ramp connecting the Greenway
South/Ackert Walkway to the bridge. Such improvements require approvals and easements from the
City of University City.

tƩƚƦƚƭğƌ Ʒƚ źķĻƓ ƷŷĻ tĻķĻƭƷƩźğƓ wğƒƦ Ʒƚ ƷŷĻ CƚƩĻƭƷ tğƩƉ tğƩƉǞğǤ .ƩźķŭĻ tğŭĻ Ќ
