K. NEW BUSINESS RESOLUTIONS 1. Resolution 2007 – 15 Olive Boulevard Streetscape Standards BILLS 2. BILL 8969 — An ordinance of the City of University City, Missouri amending the Municipal Code to provide for the licensing and regulation of news boxes. 3. BILL 8970 — An ordinance amending Chapter 8.12 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to garbage collection and delinquent bills-trash collection stopped, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 8.12.220 delinquent bills-trash collection stopped”, thereby amending said section so as to establish new regulations on the termination of city refuse collection service; containing savings and severability clauses, and providing a penalty. 4. BILL 8971 — An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions for specific streets, by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 parking prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section so as to prohibit parking at all times on East Park Industrial Drive for a distance of 30 feet on both sides of the entrance of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive and on Bartmer Industrial Ave for a distance of 30 feet on both sides of the driveway property of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive; containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. 5. BILL 8972 — An ordinance amending Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations for specific streets, by repealing Section 10.36.090 thereof, relating to stop intersections – vehicles to stop at certain intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.36.090 stop intersections – vehicles to stop at certain intersections” thereby amending said section so as for traffic to stop on Warder Ave. at Lafon Place; containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. 6. BILL 8973 — An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions for specific streets, by repealing Section 10.44.020 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.020 parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours,” thereby amending said section so as to prohibit parking on the south side of Gannon Ave, from North and South Rd to the west for a distance of 200 feet from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday; containing a saving clause and providing a penalty.
