BILL 8968 <br />— An ordinance amending Chapter 2.62 of the University City Municipal <br />Code relating to the Police and Firefighter’s Retirement system, by repealing Section <br />2.62.051 thereof, relating to investment accounts, and enacting in lieu thereof a new <br />section to be known as “Section 2.62.051 Investment Accounts,” thereby amending said <br />section so as to clarify the method of computing credits to an employee’s investment <br />account. <br />Mr. Glickert moved for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br />Roll Call vote: <br />Ayes: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Glickert, Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and Mayor Adams. <br />Nays: None <br /> Bill 8968 was passed with a majority and became ordinance 6720. <br />K. BILL 8969 <br />— An ordinance of the City of University City, Missouri amending the <br />Municipal Code to provide for the licensing and regulation of news boxes. <br />Introduced by Ms. Brot <br />2. BILL 8970 <br />— An ordinance amending Chapter 8.12 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to garbage collection and delinquent bills-trash collection stopped, and <br />enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 8.12.220 delinquent <br />bills-trash collection stopped”, thereby amending said section so as to establish new <br />regulations on the termination of city refuse collection service; containing savings and <br />severability clauses, and providing a penalty. <br />Introduced by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br />3. BILL 8971 <br />— An ordinance amending Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal <br />Code, relating to parking restrictions for specific streets, by repealing Section <br />10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and <br />enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 parking <br />prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section so as to <br />prohibit parking at all times on East Park Industrial Drive for a distance of 30 feet on <br />both sides of the entrance of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive and on Bartmer <br />Industrial Ave for a distance of 30 feet on both sides of the driveway property of 1011 <br />East Industrial Park Drive; containing a saving clause and providing a penalty. <br />Introduced by Mr. Glickert <br /> <br />
