Access
Engineering, HDR, EFK Moen and AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc. submitted
their qualifications.
The City considered the firm’s personnel qualification, experience records, past
experience with the City, location of the firm, financial status and availability to
perform the work. The engineering services
contract with AMEC provides a maximum compensation of $25,948.82 as
follows: $17,369.13 for design services and $8,579.69 for construction inspection
services.
The City budgeted for FY07-08 an estimated total cost of $24,000.00 as follows:
$4,800.00 – City match (Public Works) and $19,200.00 – Federal Grant.
This project is grant funded and the City’s match is 20% with MODOT
responsible for the remaining. The City budgeted for the remaining portion in
Fiscal Year 08-09.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval
