Cintas sells and cleans uniforms and other products
ß±½·¿¬»æ
for many St. Louis area businesses. Their trucks deliver products during the day. When they
ÖßÓÛÍ Üò ÞÑÔÛÍ
ÓßÎÇ Ûò ÞÎÑÜÇ
return in the afternoon they are unloaded and reloaded for the next day’s delivery. Over the years
ßÔÛÈßÒÜÛÎ Öò ÓÑÑÎÛ
ÕÛÒÒÛÌØ Îò ÍÝØßÛÚÚÔÛÎ
since the purchase of this facility, the business has continued to grow. They have added
ÛÎ×Ý ßò ÍÕÛÔÌÑÒ
ÛÎ×Õ Öò ÍÌßÔÛÇ
additional trucks and employees to facilitate the growing business. This facility operates 24
Ó×ÝØßÛÔ Öò ÊÛÔÔÑÚÚ
hours, 5 days per week. The plant employs approximately 118 people. Daily traffic to and from

the facility will not impact the rest of the city. Shift hours are specifically set for employees to
ÍËÎÊÛÇ×ÒÙ
ÐÔßÒÒ×ÒÙ
travel to and from work during off-peak commuting hours. Employees and truck fleet typically
ÜÛÊÛÔÑÐÓÛÒÌ ÛÒÙ×ÒÛÛÎ×ÒÙ

come and go using the Olive Blvd entrance to the property. Peak travel times to and from our
λ·¼»²¬·¿´
property are 5:00am and 2:30pm.
ݱ³³»®½·¿´
ײ¼«¬®·¿´

Additional parking is proposed for business growth. We are proposing an additional 30
ÓËÒ×Ý×ÐßÔ ÛÒÙ×ÒÛÛÎ×ÒÙ
Ø×ÙØÉßÇ ÛÒÙ×ÒÛÛÎ×ÒÙ
car spaces as well as 20 truck spaces. These additions will help fix current parking issues and
ÍßÒ×ÌßÎÇ ÛÒÙ×ÒÛÛÎ×ÒÙ
also give Cintas some additional parking for the future as they continue to grow theirbusiness.
ÉßÌÛÎ ÎÛÍÑËÎÝÛÍ
The proposed plan for the addition of the parking spaces will disturb approximately 0.6
acres of the property in the three specific areas. Grading for the proposed construction shall be
kept to a minimum. The proposed parking areas have been designed to meet existing site grades
as close as possible to minimize the impact as well as the area of the construction. The proposed
parking lots will be constructed with asphalt surfaces and 6 inch concrete vertical curb. All
details for construction are included on the plans.
The plans also show that the proposed construction will create an increase in the storm
water runoff generated by the proposed pavement areas of 0.837 cfs. The calculations to
determine the additional storm water runoff are in accordance with Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District design criteria for the 20 year, 20 minute event. Cintas, in an effort to be pro-active with
respect to the storm water runoff as well as providinglandscaping at the site to meet the City’s
landscape requirements, have proposed to construct a rain garden in which to drain the proposed
ïïçîð É»¬´·²» ײ¼«¬®·¿´ Ü®·ª» ͬò Ô±«·ô ÓÑ êíïìê
øíïì÷ êçîóèèèè ÚßÈ øíïì÷ êçîóèêèè ©©©ò½´¿§¬±²»²¹ò°®±
