The County had a proposal relating to I-64 traffic <br />mitigation on the agenda. The request was to change Westgate to non-entry or one- <br />way entry and remove the traffic signal at Olive and Westgate. The stretch of road <br />belongs to the County so their request was primarily a courtesy. The Commission <br />members present heard the request and staff recommended that we limit Westgate to <br />one-way south bound rather than closing entirely. The County proceeded with the <br />changes two weeks ago. There have been problems at the intersection since the <br />change and we need to codify the traffic changes for enforcement purposes. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approval <br /> <br />
