BILL NO.______ ORDINANCE NO.___________ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING <br />SECTION 10.36.030 THEREOF, RELATING TO ONE-WAY STREET DESIGNATED, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION <br />10.36.030 ONE-WAY STREETS DESIGNATED,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION <br />SO AS DESIGNATION OF WESTGATE AVE TO BE ONE-WAY STREET SOUTHBOUND <br />FROM OLIVE BLVD. TO NORTH AVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to designation of One- <br />way street, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.030 thereof, relating to One-way <br />streets designated, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.36.030 <br />One-way streets designated.,” thereby amending said section so as designation of Westgate Ave <br />to be One-way street southbound from Olive Blvd. to North Ave.; so that said section, as so <br />amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.36.030 One-way streets designated. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as one-way streets, and traffic shall <br />move only in the direction indicated on such streets or parts of streets: <br />Balson Avenue: From Warder Avenue to Wilner Avenue, traffic in the north lane shall move in a <br />westbound direction only. From Warder Avenue to Wilner Avenue, traffic in the south lane shall <br />move in an eastbound direction only. <br />Bartmer Avenue: In the 6700 block, traffic shall move in a westbound direction only. <br />Bland Drive: From Northmoor Drive to Forsyth Boulevard, traffic shall move in a northbound <br />direction only. <br />Cabanne Avenue: From its "Y" intersection with North Drive to Eastgate Avenue, traffic shall <br />move in an eastbound direction only. <br />Cates Avenue: From Westgate Avenue to Eastgate Avenue, traffic shall move in an eastbound <br />direction only. <br />Chamberlain Avenue: In the 6700 block, traffic shall move in an eastbound direction only. <br />Corbitt Avenue: One way westbound between Pennsylvania and Purcell. <br />Corbitt Avenue: One way eastbound between Purcell and Ferguson. <br />Crest Avenue: One way eastbound between Sadler and Kingsland. <br />East Park Avenue: From Maple Avenue to Bartmer Avenue, traffic shall move in a northbound <br />direction only. <br />Geoffrey Lane: From Delmar Boulevard to West Canterbury, traffic shall move in a northbound <br />direction only. <br />George Street: From a point one hundred fifty-six (156) feet north of the north line of Olive <br />Boulevard to Wellington Avenue, traffic shall move in northbound direction only. <br /> <br />
