Session 1871 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />March 17, 2003 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, March 17, 2003, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel, <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt, <br />Mr. Robert Wagner, <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman, <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch, <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sharpe made the motion to accept the Minutes of the February 24, <br />2003 regular meeting minutes. Ms. Welsch seconded and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS/REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Councilmember Shelley Welsch motioned to appoint Dennis Mark Hyland, 7024 <br />Waterman, to the Historic Preservation Committee for a term ending September 9, <br />2005. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion; it was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmember Arthur Sharpe moved to reappoint Deborah Arbogast, 6959 Kingsbury, <br />to the Planning Commission for a term ending January 1, 2006. Mr. Wagner seconded <br />the motion which was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmember Colquitt offered the motion to reappoint Jerry Lander, 7838 Gannon, to <br />the Park Commission for a term ending January 21, 2006. The second was offered <br />by Mr. Wagner and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The Mayor called on JoAnne Zach and Eleanor Ruder to come forward. The City <br />Clerk, Leisha Forsythe, administered the oath for re-appointment to the Municipal <br />Commission on Arts and Letters and the Loop Special District Board of Trustees, <br />respectively. <br /> <br /> <br />
