CITY MANAGER'S AGENDA: <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 1 -CONSENT CALENDAR: <br /> <br />1 - Architect Services: City Hall Rehab- The City Manager confirmed the selection of <br />Trivers Associates to provide a detailed plan for restoring and preserving the historic <br />exterior and interior features of the Women's Magazine building (now City Hall). He <br />anticipated conclusion of this study in July; presentations to appropriate boards and <br />commissions as well as City Council will occur at that time. <br /> <br />2 - Julian Ave. Bridge Replacement - Mr. Ollendorff presented the following bid proposals <br />for the project: <br /> <br />1. RV Wagner, Inc. <br />2. Gershenson Construction <br />3. Engineers Estimate (revised) <br />4. Original Estimate <br /> <br />$233,650.12 <br />$248,073.24 <br />$198,286.85 <br />$282,000.00 <br /> <br />He recommended awarding the project, paid for with Federal and City Funds, to R.V. <br />Wagner, Inc., (subject to MoDOT's concurrence) for their bid of $233,650.12. A total of <br />$282,000 was originally estimated for construction costs. The City will be responsible for <br />20% of the cost. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner stated that he is not related to the R.V. Wagner recommended for award of <br />this bid. <br /> <br />A motion to accept the Consent Calendar was made by Mr. Munkel, seconded by Ms. <br />Welsch and carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 2 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 6265 DELMAR: <br /> <br />The City Manager concurred with the Plan Commission recommendation to approve a <br />conditional use permit for a combination recording studio and music store. The business <br />plan appeared to meet the intent of the U. City special zoning district. Because the <br />recording studio will be an important part of business, City Council approval was needed. <br />All ordinance requirements were met; there were no additional conditions recommended. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman asked what percentage of the business would be retail vs. non-retail. Mr. <br />Ollendorff replied that the Plan Commission felt it was not inconsistent for the area. <br /> <br /> <br />
