Session 1869 <br />February 24, 2003 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that the Big Bend station and the other facilities in this <br />section have not been totally designed yet. Bi-State has given the City <br />assurances that they will be fully included in all discussions and decisions <br />regarding the design details of these facilities. <br /> <br />Thirdly, Mr. Wagner and the neighbors in this area are distressed with the <br />size and appearance of the emergency escape buildings. He asked that <br />Bi-State review the function of these emergency exits. They must realize <br />that the neighborhood can see the buildings from their backyards. The <br />citizens request that they be minimized and attractively designed. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said that we will be included in all discussions and decisions <br />regarding the design details of these facilities. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that he feels that Bi-State is putting forth a good faith <br />effort to assure the City that they will provide the City with ample <br />opportunity to be involved in many of the details that Mr. Wagner <br />mentioned. They are being very cooperative, in this regard. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved adoption. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was as followed: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Sharpe and Mayor Adams.
