Session 1869
February 24, 2003

Mr. Ollendorff said that the Big Bend station and the other facilities in this
section have not been totally designed yet. Bi-State has given the City
assurances that they will be fully included in all discussions and decisions
regarding the design details of these facilities.

Thirdly, Mr. Wagner and the neighbors in this area are distressed with the
size and appearance of the emergency escape buildings. He asked that
Bi-State review the function of these emergency exits. They must realize
that the neighborhood can see the buildings from their backyards. The
citizens request that they be minimized and attractively designed. Mr.
Ollendorff said that we will be included in all discussions and decisions
regarding the design details of these facilities.

Mr. Ollendorff said that he feels that Bi-State is putting forth a good faith
effort to assure the City that they will provide the City with ample
opportunity to be involved in many of the details that Mr. Wagner
mentioned. They are being very cooperative, in this regard.

Mr. Sharpe moved adoption. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion. The roll call
vote was as followed: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr.
Sharpe and Mayor Adams. Bill number 8651 passed and became Ordinance
number 6420.

Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 5:32 p.m.

Leisha Forsythe
City Clerk
