Our community is committed to conscious decision-making that uses a racial equity lens <br />at every level, including examining racial disparities in employment, education, housing, <br />transportation, and the application of justice. The same principle of equity applies to all <br />groups subject to discrimination to include, but not be limited to gender identity, religion, <br />ethnicity, income, age, sexual orientation and disability. <br /> <br />Sustainability <br /> <br />The City follows the global belief that sustainability and environmental stewardship are <br />crucial in every aspect of planning for our U City’s future. U City seeks to balance the <br />environment, economy and social equity equity to ensure existing and future community <br />members thrive in a healthy, positive, and livable environment. <br /> <br />Prosperity <br /> <br />Prosperity dependsis dependent upon an economically mobile, a stable and well- <br />educated community with opportunities for economic advancement. U City is committed <br />to the creation of new opportunities for economic activity that benefit all city residents, <br />bringing stability, wealth and prosperity, especially to underserved areas. <br /> <br />Health <br /> <br />The only way a community can thrive is if it is healthy in all aspects of its life.
