K.CITYMANAGER’SREPORT <br />1. <br />1500 block of MendellDr. –Approve remaining asphalt resurfacing by University City’s <br />contractor Ford Asphalt Company. <br />Councilmember Carr moved to approve, was seconded by Councilmember Smotherson and <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br />L.UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />BILLS <br />1.Bill 9317- <br />ANORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 330 OF THE TRAFFIC CODE, TO <br />REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. Bill 9317 was read for the <br />second and third time. <br />Councilmember Carr moved to approve, was seconded by Councilmember Smotherson. <br />Roll Call Vote Was: <br />Ayes: <br />Councilmember Carr, Councilmember McMahon, Councilmember Crow, <br />Councilmember Smotherson, Councilmember Jennings and Mayor Welsch. <br />Nays: <br />None <br />2.Bill 9318 – <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE III OF THE TRAFFIC CODE, TO <br />REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. LOUIS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Smotherson <br />and carried unanimously. <br />Introduced by CouncilmemberCrow <br />2.RESOLUTION 2017-9 <br />A RESOLUTION TO ADOPTTHE FISCAL YEAR2018 BUDGET. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Jennings. <br />CouncilmemberMcMahon stated during the weeks following the Study Session he has <br />received numerous emails, phone calls and even met with residents to discuss items <br />contained within the budget. So he is pleased that Council set the budget discussions out <br />early to ensure there were no surprises and people had plenty of time to talk about what <br />they felt was important. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 16 <br /> <br />
