RESOLUTION The matter of establishing a neighborhood improvement district in University Park No. 2 Subdivision was considered. After a review and general discussion of the matter, Councilmember Lieberman offered the following resolution and moved its adoption. BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri, finds and declares as follows: University Park No. 2 Subdivision (the "Subdivision") is a subdivision in the City of University City, Missouri. On or about September 11, 2003, a proper petition for the creation of a neighborhood improvement district within the Subdivision was filed with the City Clerk. The petition was signed by the owners of record of at least two-thirds by area of all real property located within the proposed neighborhood improvement district. The project name for the proposed improvement is "University Park No. 2 Subdivision Neighborhood Improvement Project." 5. The general nature of the proposed improvement is as follows: Maintenance and repair work on Subdivision streets, curbs, gutters, driveway aprons, storm water inlets and sidewalks according to University City Public Works Department standards for public property of that nature; and Any other improvements to said Subdivision property which is necessary to meet City of University City standards for acceptance of a dedication of such property to public use. 6. The estimated cost of the proposed improvement is $800,000. The boundaries of the proposed improvement district to be assessed are as indicated on the plat marked "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof. The original plat was recorded in Book 21, Page 25 of the St. Louis County Records. The legal description of the proposed improvement district is in "Exhibit B," which is attached and made a part hereof. The legal description was recorded in Book 753, Page 1 of the St. Louis County Records.
