This issue will be revisited after the Council and City staff <br />has thoroughly studied all of the implications of this proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />A,qenda Item #10 - Heman Park Recreational Facility <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff provided an update on this project and an explanation of the <br />"buildable areas" as requested by Councilmember Welsch. Along with the <br />packet of written information, including plans and diagrams presented, Mr. <br />Ollendorff advised that the procedure followed was step-by-step: the designers <br />met with the staff a few times to clarify issues, then prepared drawings and <br />alternatives, then met with staff again, and at the third meeting they produced the <br />materials before Council today. He advised further that all interested citizen <br />groups will be allowed to review the plans for this project. <br /> <br />Further discussion centered upon features of the plans as presented by Mr. <br />Ollendorff and challenges such as the inability to fit a six-lane running track in the <br />design.
