Session 1904 <br />December 15, 2003 <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval and Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion. The roll call <br />vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, <br />Mr. Lieberman Ms. Welsch and Mayor Adams NAYS: none. Bill Number 8704 <br />passed and was given the Ordinance Number 6472. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch stated her intentions to discuss with the City Manager Ms. MacCartney's <br />report on the skateboard park. She mentioned sharing the recommendations in that <br />report with members of the Proposition K Committee and with the Planning <br />Commission. Ms. Welsch then mentioned her desire to remove the mulch pile from <br />Heman Park and to turn that area into a viable recreational center. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt mentioned the annual Holiday Party for children would be held on <br />Wednesday, December 23, 2003. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff advised the meeting and citizens that Mayor Adams was a strong <br />candidate for the position of Second Vice President, National League of Cities, and that <br />he won praise from local officials in the Saint Louis area for his fine job representing <br />University City. Ms. Welsch offered congratulations.
