Session 1902 <br />December 1,2003 <br /> <br />Kathryn Stein, 531 Donne Avenue, took the oath of office to serve on the Municipal <br />Commission on Arts and Letters for a tern ending January 2008. <br /> <br />Rita Gram, 7220 Greenway, took the oath of office to serve on the Library Board for a <br />term ending, June 2006. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked Mr. Gibson, Ms. Stein and Ms. Gram for their service to the <br />City. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM # 1 - CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff advised there were two items on the Consent Calendar because one <br />was removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Land Manaqement and Code Enforcement Application <br /> <br />Request for Proposal were issued to 19 vendors for new Planning and Development <br />Department software applications. Proposals were received from the following <br />companies: <br /> <br />CRW ...................................... <br />GEMS ..................................... <br />Varion/Govern .......................... <br />Hansen ................................... <br /> <br />$117,500 <br />$138,290 <br />$176,876 <br />$282,500 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff advised that the proposals from CRW and GEMS did not meet the City's <br />Specifications, so he recommended that the bid of $176,876 from Varion/Govern be <br />accepted and that the amount appropriated from prior year reserves saved for this <br />purpose. <br /> <br />Police Car Purchase <br /> <br />Invitation for bids were issued for purchasing three new Impalas for the Police <br />Department.
