To: Honorable Mayor Adams and City Council

From: Julie Feier, City Manager

Date: April 11, 2008

Subject: Weekly Update

* Don’t forget the Monday, April 14 budget presentation and public hearing
regarding the preparation of the FY ’09 budget at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers.

As a recommendation from the Information Technology Assessment, attached is the
Single Point of Failure Preliminary Report
. Also listed are two levels of solutions, which include a simple
cost-effective solution to the problem and then a more professional long-term solution.
This is only a preliminary report and further research will be applied to the solution
areas. A listing of transfers approved since the
initiation of the policy in March 2008 is attached. Please contact Janet Watson if you
have any questions regarding these transfers.

Driving Range Update:
Construction began February 25 and has been significantly
impacted by the wettest winter/spring on record.
