<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />February 25, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, February 25, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Julie Feier. <br />Ms. Brot had an excused absence. <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. February 12, 2008, study session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br /> Wagner, seconded by Ms. Ricci, and were approved unanimously. <br />2. February 129, 2008, regular session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br /> Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert, and were passed unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />Paulette Smith was appointed to the Traffic Commission by Ms. Ricci, seconded by <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. IT Organizational and Needs Assessment <br />The assessment is to provide a holistic review of how well the City is utilizing and <br />applying technology, personnel and other additional resources for existing and <br />future programs and projects that may be identified through strategic planning. <br />The review team chose FPOV, out of three proposals, at a cost of $15,000. <br /> <br />The Finance Director Janet Watson informed the Council to mark their calendar <br />for March 6 for a special session with the FPOV consultants for direction and <br />input. <br /> <br />2. Fleet Management System to assist in tracking maintenance, depreciation and <br /> distribution of cost of 176 fleet units. <br />It was recommended to go with gbaMaster Series fleet management system for <br />$46,435. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for the approval of the consent calendar, seconded by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr., and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
