Session 1911 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />February 9, 2004 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, February 9, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of Council were <br />present: <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt attended by phone due to illness. Also present were the City Manager, Mr. <br />Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked for an addition to the minutes, on page one, to read that he <br />appreciated that the designers of the recreation center had increased the length of the <br />basketball court as recommended by the Proposition K Committee, and with that <br />addition moved to approve the minutes of the Special meeting January 17, 2004. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded the motion and the minutes were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to adopt the minutes of the January 17, 2004 Study Session, and Mr. <br />Munkel seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />APOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Welsch re-appointed Mr. Bob Winters, 7242 Colgate Avenue, to the <br />Arts and Letters Commission for a term ending January 2, 2008. Mr. Lieberman <br />seconded the re-appointment, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch then re-appointed Ms. Elizabeth Shiller, 7206 Dartmouth Avenue, to the <br />Traffic Commission for a term ending January 21, 2007. Mr. Sharpe seconded the re- <br />appointment, which passed unanimously <br /> <br />OATHS <br /> <br />Terry Gloriod, 7483 Shaftesbury Avenue, took the oath of office to serve as a member <br />of the Tax Increment Financing Commission (TIF). <br /> <br /> <br />
