<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />June 23, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, June 23, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was Deputy City Manager/Finance Director Janet Watson in place of <br />Ms. Julie Feier who was out on maternity leave. <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. June 2, 2008, Regular Council session minutes were moved for approval as <br />amended by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Crow and were approved <br />unanimously. <br />2. June 2, 2008, Study session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Price, <br />seconded by Mr. Crow and were approved unanimously. <br />3. June 9, 2008, Study session-budget minutes as were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Price, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Ed Mass and Steven Goldstein were appointed to Ruth Park Golf Advisory <br />Committee by Mayor Adams. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. <br />Annual order for police uniforms <br />One bid was received for the police uniforms which included pants, shirts, <br />raincoats, boots, gloves, hats and miscellaneous accessories. The bid was <br />awarded to Leon Uniform for $27,256.65. <br /> <br />2. <br />Community Forestry Plan <br />The Urban Forestry Commission presented its first annual plan for approval <br />which was prescribed by the forestry ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval of the Consent Calendar, seconded by Mr. <br />Glickert and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
