CITIZENS’ COMMENTS
Brad Flansburg, 6902 Julian Ave
Mr. Flansburg stated that he had made multiple calls to City Hall for about two
weeks trying to get his trash picked up to no avail. He called the City Clerk Joyce
Pumm and she was able to take care of getting his trash picked-up in a short period
of time and took the time to call him back to be sure it was handled. Mr. Flansburg
was concerned about not getting phone calls returned nor answers to his e-mail from
the City. The second item he wanted to address was the City’s Police Department’s
lack of appropriate response. He stated it took the City police two hours to respond
to his call when there was a bust, weapon discharges and outstanding felony
charges. He spoke of a neighbor’s house break-in that appeared to look like
retaliation to the bust, as everything was turned upside down but nothing of value
was taken. Mr. Flansburg stated that he has had multiple issues happen to himself
and his personal property and could not get the police to come when called.
Jen Jenson, 706 Pennsylvania
Ms. Jenson stated that she was present at the Council session where the acting City
Manager had told Council that the survey by Terrance Jones was to start that night
of which the Council was not aware o,f as they had previously requested to see the
questions that were to be asked on the survey. Ms. Jenson stated that her
household had received the phone call just prior to the start of that Council meeting,
