MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />October 6, 2008 <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, October 6, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Julie Feier and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. September 22, 2008, Regular Council session minutes were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br />2. September 29, 2008, Special session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr. seconded by Mr. Crow and were approved unanimously. <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />Reappointment to CALOP Commission by Mr. Glickert, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br />and was approved unanimously. <br />1. Mae Etta Weston <br />2. Ed Nickels <br />3. Eric Freidman <br />4. Eleanor Mullin <br />Reappointment to the Parks Commission by Mr. Wagner, seconded by Mr. Crow <br />and was approved unanimously. <br />1. Jerry Fitch <br />2. John Sterbenz <br />3. Livingstone Sykes <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Diane Davenport to the Arts and Letters Commission <br />Christopher Smith to the Historic Preservation Commission <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Bio-diesel fuel annual bid to low-bidder for all fuel blends, Petroleum Traders, for <br />low bid on Bio11 fuel for $320,409. <br />2. Annual Leaf Vacuuming Contractors was recommended to be split between tow <br />bidders, two-thirds to Hendel Lawn Care for $44,200 and one-third to Complete <br />Curbside for $22,100 <br /> <br />
