It was decided that Ms. Feier would provide some dates in the weekly for <br />rescheduling of the Benefit study for the Council to choose. <br />Ms. Feier stated that the City did not receive the St. Louis County Public <br />Assistance to assist in the $360,000 losses that the City incurred from the flood. <br />Individual assistance is waiting on FEMA’s decision. <br />Mayor Adams stated that he and Councilmember Price met with Councilman <br />Clay to see if he would be able to assist the City in lobbying for assistance from <br />FEMA. <br />J. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. Bill 9006 - An ordinance of the City of University City, Missouri amending <br />City Ordinance No. 6722 and Titles V and XII of the Municipal Code <br />regarding the regulation and permitting of news’ boxes. <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., <br />and Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none <br />Bill 9006 became Ordinance 6756 <br />2. Bill 9007 - An ordinance of the City of University City, Missouri for the <br />installation of an emergency vehicle pre-emption signal system between <br />the City of University City and the Missouri Highways and Transportation <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Glickert asked the City Manager if it was to be assumed that the Post <br />would come to the City Manager in order to obtain their yellow boxes for <br />approval. The other thing he noticed were the chaining of boxes to public <br />signs. He preferred that the chains be eliminated.
