The proposed development would go from the southeast corner of <br />Kingsland and Vernon to Metcalf Park. We are working with the consultant on the <br />blighting analysis, which will be required to move the project forward as a TIF for the <br />mixed-use retail/residential development. The project will anchor the intersection and <br />create an exceptional expansion of the Loop style architecture as it encourages <br />pedestrian synergy for the neighborhood along Kingsland. The project will provide <br />122,192 square feet of building space made up by nine buildings including 98 condo <br />units, 12 retail/commercial spaces and 263 off street parking spaces. <br /> <br />Tomorrow Saturday, November 21, 2008 the School District will be holding its last <br />community engagement <br /> session regarding it final recommendations to the School <br />Board regarding student achievement, facilities, finance and parental and family <br />involvement. The session will be held at Julia Goldstein EEC, 737 Kingsland Ave. from <br />9:30 am to 11:30 am.
