Byron Price and Mayor Adams stated that it is important to contact the
representatives in the Federal government in hope to be noticed for flood
assistance.

Ms. Ricci urged all to sign up to receive the City Manager’s Weekly report by email.
She stated that in the last weekly report, information was given on MSD and
government officials to contact in trying to keep the citizens informed. She said this
must be addressed on the Federal level, as it is bigger than the City.

Mr. Sharpe stated that Hazel Erby was to have a meeting for the flood victims and to
call her or him for more information. He suggested working ahead and estimating
the loss and dollar damage, so if FEMA comes through you will be a step closer to
filing.

Mayor Adams stated that when addressing the government officials, do it by email or
by fax.

Sandra Ann Hewitt, 6913 Roberts Ave
Ms. Hewitt asked why the large cut up log has remained in the creek and was not
removed, thus obstructing the water flow. She asked if the American Red Cross
was still supplying hot meals. Ms. Hewit asked if the City had any fund raisers
planned especially with the Holidays coming.

Rosemary Ursin, 1191 Belrue
Ms. Ursin stated that she had lost everything in her completed basement and all her
insurance company offered her was $400. Her children have been suffering from
asthma due to the flood residue. She felt her stress level is so high and does not
know where to turn.

Fareedah Sidqui, 6905 Roberts Ave
Ms. Sidqui also commented on the tree that was cut up but the pieces were left in
the creek. She was concerned of the drawings shown by the Public Works
department that showed houses as hers, built on what was a lake. Ms. Sidqui also
said it took three weeks for her insurance company adjuster to come. She said she
has had enough and would like a buy-out.

Kelly O’Daniels, 1118 Wilson
Ms. O’Daniels said that property on the east side of Wilson is not in a flood plain but
rather it is a river-bed. She stated that in talking to her neighbors, they say they are
waiting on action from the City, waiting on action from MSD, waiting on action from
the Corps of Engineers, other than a study; they all were waiting for buy-outs. She
is the only one that has moved back into her home. Ms. O’Daniels said she is
following the advice of the City and emailing government officials but she stated she
is not getting any response. She asked the City to tell the homeowners if there is
going to be a buy-out because if there is not, the residents need to get back to
cleaning in order to return.

Mayor Adams stated that the City declared a state of disaster and the City just
received an email back from the Governor before this meeting stating that the
