MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />December 8, 2008 <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, December 8, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Mr. Terry Crow was excused. <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Julie Feier and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. November 17, 2008, Regular Council session minutes were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Wagner and were approved unanimously. <br />2. November 20, 2008, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr. seconded by Mr. Wagner and were approved unanimously. <br />3. November 24, 2008, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Stephen Myers was sworn in to the Historic Preservation Commission in the City <br />Clerk’s office. <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />Councilmember Price asked the City Manager to reverse General Fund spending in <br />light that the CDBG would not fund the $1,000 previously approved by the Council <br />for the Sutter Meyer House restoration.He motioned that the $1,000 the City would <br />receive from the CDBG grant that would be applied to another area, the City would <br />in turn, allocate the same for the Sutter Meyer House renovation from the General <br />Fund. Mr. Glickert asked to be excused from the dais because of possible conflict of <br />interest. <br />Mr. Price’s motion was seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and was passed unanimously. <br />J. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Bill 9009 will be held until farther study is completed. <br />1. BILL 9009 - An ordinance amending Chapter 9.20 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to offenses by or against minors, by repealing <br /> <br />
