Ongoing strategic planning <br />Ms. Ricci would like goal number three, financial stability and long term vitality moved to <br />number one priority and number one, commercial and retail development moved to the <br />third priority. <br />It was decided to add foreclosures north of Olive under goal two, housing and <br />development <br />Mr. Crow asked to keep in strategic relationships, the Washington University impact. He <br />also suggested looking at apartment attractiveness and taking smaller steps of looking for <br />any retail business looking for expansion. <br />Census is to take place April 1, 2010. Residents need to be educated to fill out cards left <br />to be mailed. There has been confusion with the County because of the multiple zip codes <br />in University City. Mr. Wagner asked the City Manager to acquire the data base and let <br />Council review as time permits. <br />The Council had a discussion on hours for curfew for minors in University City. There was <br />not a majority agreement as to where and what time. Mr. Sharpe asked to have Mr. <br />Edwards and Chief Adams come to another study session to talk to Council. <br />Ms. Feier stated that the crime committed is adults preying on the youth. If the youth were <br />not present, the crime would go down. <br />The City Manager stated that the City earned $700,000 from ambulance service. <br />Mr. Wagner stated that he has had complaints from residents of University City’s website <br />not being friendly to users. <br />Charging for parking on City lots on the Loop will be discussed again in six months. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 12:40 p.m. <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />
