Session 1915 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />March 29, 2004 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, March 29, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Adams apologized for starting the meeting late, In addition to <br />the Mayor, the following members of Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present were the City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to adopt the minutes of the Study Session held on March 15, 2004, <br />and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Sharpe moved <br />to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on March 15, 2004, and Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION- Intent to Participate in Ali-Hazard Mitiqation <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel introduced a Resolution of intent to participate in all-hazard mitigation and <br />working toward becoming a disaster resistant community, explaining that it recognized <br />no community is immune from natural hazards. It was seconded by Ms. Colquitt, and <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - Pershinq Hei.qhts Improvements <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff suggested that the Council might like to hold the second resolution, <br />dealing with Pershing Heights, for discussion until after the public hearing. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - Securities Account <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved to address the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to open a <br />securities account and to sell, assign and endorse for transfer certificates of stock, and <br />Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
