Session 1918 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />May 3, 2004 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, May 3, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:40 p.m. The following members of Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Ms. Francine Brungardt <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Ms. Stefany Brot <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner moved to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2004 Regular <br />meeting of the City Council, and Councilmember Brot seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS/REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved to appoint Patrick J. Gallagher, 8697D Old Towne Drive, 63132, <br />to the Library Board for a term ending June 30, 2005, and Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />appointment, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />The oath of office to serve on the Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters was <br />administered to Caryn St. Clair. Mayor Adams thanked her for serving the City. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended approval of the Consent Calendar, which included the <br />City's share of a bid to resurface North and South Road and part of Forsythe Boulevard, <br />as well as a pro-rating of recreational facility fees throughout the next twelve months. <br /> <br />Recreation Facility Fees <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended approval of pro-rating annual Recreation Facility fees <br />on a monthly basis beginning July 1 and ending May 2005 at which time a new fee <br /> <br /> <br />
