Session 1922 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />May 17, 2004 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, May 17, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. The following members of Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Francine Brungardt <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Ms. Stefany Brot <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Excused: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sharpe moved to approve the minutes of the May 3, 2004 Special <br />meeting, Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner moved to approve the minutes of the May 3, 2004 Regular <br />meeting and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. Councilmember Brot noted an error on <br />page ten, "Ms. Wagner" should have been "Ms. Welsch." Ms. Brot also questioned a <br />statement preceding Agenda Item #4 relating to Mayor Adam's recommendation that <br />the Park Commission set a specific number of passes to be issued to non-residents, <br />and he reiterated that it was his recommendation, emanating from citizen suggestions, <br />and it was his suggestion that it be considered by the Park Commission. Mr. Ollendorff <br />said that earlier in the minutes it was indicated that Councilmember Welsch asked for a <br />complete report on all current policies, and he said that report is being prepared, <br />indeed, "a couple of reports on that subject will be coming." The minutes were <br />approved unanimously after that correction was noted. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Patrick J. Gallagher, 8697D Old Towne Drive, took the oath of office to serve on the <br />Library Board, for a term ending June 30, 2005. Mayor Adams thanked him for serving <br />the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
