City Manager Ollendorff and the City Council/Plan
Commission were very supportive of this action.

Jim Thomas noted that Ms. Brungardt's comment about fossil fuels lasting fifty
years was too generous. He said that the decisions being made here will set up
the infrastructure for the city's future. He encouraged the City to be a trend
setter.

Ms. Welsch encouraged the Olive Business Association to send representatives
to the Plan Commission meetings. She also asked why this process had to be
done over 10 months; why can't it be loosened up to take enough time to make
sure that it is done correctly? Mr. Ollendorff stated that more time could be
allotted if it is necessary.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.

Leisha Meine Forsythe, City Clerk

4
