Session 1929 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />July 12, 2004 <br /> <br />At a special session of the City Council of University City held in the second floor <br />conference room, July 12, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Ms. Francine Brungardt <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Ms. Stefany Brat <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Excused: Ms. Shelley Welsch (attempted to be present by phone, yet efforts to reach <br />her were unsuccessful). Also present was the City Manager, Frank Ollendarff. <br /> <br />After the roll call, Mayor Adams asked the Council to consider allowing Councilmember <br />Shelley Welsch to attend the meeting by telephone. Ms. Brat moved approval. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Adams dialed the <br />number provided for Ms. Welsch and received a busy signal. Mayor Adams attempted <br />again. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to adopt the minutes of the June 21,2004 Study Session. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to adopt the minutes of the June 21, 2004 Regular Session. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />(Mayor Adams attempted to dial Ms. Welsch) <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to adopt the minutes of the June 28, 2004 Plan Commission/City <br />Council Joint Meeting. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, with the following <br />amendments. Page 1, last paragraph, stated that the second line should read "new <br />advisory board on economic progress" and add a sentence that says "He (Mr. Wagner) <br />asked that they include recommendations in the Comprehensive Plan." On Page 3, Ms. <br />Brat said that the word "fuel" should be included in the first line, after fossil. Mr. Wagner <br />added the following sentence to the end of paragraph 3, "He asked that a <br />recommendation be made to Council again this year regarding the benefits of an <br />architectural review board." The amended minutes passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to adopt the study session/special meeting minutes from June 28, <br />2004.
