Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. (Mayor Adams attempted to dial Ms. Welsch) APPOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS Mayor Adams moved to appoint Dan Markenson, 7135 Lindell, to the LCRA for a term ending March 18, 2004 and the IDA for an unexpired term ending August 18, 2008. The motion was seconded by Mr. Sharpe. Mr. Wagner then moved to table this appointment and Ms. Brot seconded AYES: three and NAYS: three, so the motion to table failed. The main question was called and passed unanimously. Councilmember Colquitt moved to reappoint Ms. Everline Barham, 7944 Glenside Place, to the Library Board for a term ending June 30, 2007. Mr. Sharpe seconded and the reappointment passed unanimously. OATH OF OFFICE Robert Grunzinger was sworn in as a member of the Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority (LCRA) and was thanked for serving the City of University City. At this time, Mayor Adams attempted to reach by telephone Councilmember Shelley Welsch, who was absent from the meeting. (Mayor Adams attempted to dial Ms. Welsch) A.qenda Item #1 - Consent Calendar The City Manager noted that item number three from the Consent Calendar had been removed to allow for discussion, if needed. Mr. Wagner moved to approve and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Ollendorff said that item three would be left until the end of the meeting for discussion so that Ms. Welsch could comment as per her request to do so, by telephone.
