Session 1929 <br />July 12, 2004 <br /> <br />Roof Replacement - Central Gara,qe <br /> <br />Invitations to Bid were sent to four contractors for subject roof replacement. The <br />following bids were received: <br /> <br /> Base Bid <br />Shay Roofing ....................... $136,658.00 <br />Top Priority Roofing ............... $156,825.00 <br />Complete Roofing .................. $145,952.00 <br /> <br /> Alternate (Metal Caps) <br />$2,000.00 <br />$2,710.00 <br />$2,120.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended awarding this project to Shay Roofing for their Iow bid of <br />$138,658.00. <br /> <br />Copier Contracts Extension <br /> <br />SBP Image Solutions had provided seven copiers under contract for the last three <br />years. The contract includes repair service and supplies for the contract period. An <br />additional four copiers were added during this period by various departments. SBP <br />Image Solutions has agreed to combine all the copiers under one contract for an option <br />period of two years at the same cost as the original contract. Additionally SBP will <br />upgrade four of the copiers which have experienced heavy usage during this contract <br />period. <br /> <br />Total Cost of 11 Copiers-2003-2004 <br /> <br />$42,703.00 <br /> <br />Proposed 2004-2005 <br /> <br />$40,542.00 <br /> <br />The City manager herefore recommended an award be made to SBP Image Solutions <br />for proposed cost of $40,542.00. <br /> <br />(Mayor Adams attempted to dial Ms. Welsch) <br />Public Hearinq Date for Floodplain Ordinance <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended setting August 16 at 7:30 p.m. in these Council Chambers <br />as the time and place for a public hearing on the proposed floodplain management <br />ordinance. This ordinance is recommended by the State of Missouri in order to meet all <br />current requirements of the Federal Government.
