The platted roadway will never happen however walkway for pedestrians
and bicycles should be maintained. Vacating would return the land to productive use at
the expense of others.

Mayor Adams declared the Public Hearing open at 7:40 p.m.

Ms. Colquitt asked if the resident understood that he was responsible for up-keep since
the City is vacating, and Mr. Ollendorff said the two residents affected had requested
the vacation: one in writing and one orally with an inspector over the telephone.

B.J. Beckhan, 7400 Coolidge Drive, said that he was an adjacent owner and was in
favor of the vacation.

Mr. Wagner asked him what condition was in currently, and was told that it has grassy
areas.

Kevin M. Carter, 1352 Coolidge Drive, said that he maintained the property along with
Mr. Beckham. He is in favor of the vacation and will accept the property.

Mayor Adams declared the Public Hearing closed for a second time at 7:50 p.m.
Page 5
