Invitations to bid were sent to four <br />possible sources with the following results: <br /> <br />Hourly <br />Rate Capacity Total <br /> <br />First Student (formerly Ryder Transportation) $43.00 84 $29,500 <br /> <br />The hourly rate bid last year was $40.00 per hour. First Student provides excellent <br />service. Mr. Ollendorff recommended the award be made to First Student for an <br />estimated amount of $23,134. <br /> <br />Mobile Communication Equipment Annual Maintenance <br /> <br />St. Louis Electronics was awarded a contract for subject services for fiscal year 2003- <br />2004 with an option to extend the services for one year. Each department has been well <br />satisfied with the services. <br /> <br />St. Louis Electronic <br />Warner Communications <br /> <br />$15,438.00 <br />$18,863.40 <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended exercising the option to extend the services of the <br />contract for maintenance service to St. Louis Electronics for their bid of $15,438. <br /> <br />Barcodin,q and Evidence Trackinq System <br /> <br />Requests for quotes were sent to three vendors. The following quotes were received: <br /> <br />Porter Lee Corporation <br />File On Q, Evidence on Q <br />QueTel Corporation, TraQ <br /> <br />$10,641.50 <br />$22,153.70 <br />$10,585.85 <br /> <br />The system offered by Porter Lee Corp. would integrate best with the Police <br />Department's existing system. Mr. Ollendorff recommended award to Porter Lee Corp. <br />for their bid of $10,641.50. <br /> <br />Annual Order- Office Supply Contract <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended exercising the option to accept an additional year of <br />furnishing office supply products to Corporate Express, in the estimated amount of <br />$40,000 for fiscal year 2004-2005.
