Session 1932 <br />August 16, 2004 <br /> <br />she sees the Historical Society as showing "intense interest in this building." She then <br />asked about the status of the Historic Preservation Commission and if they are still <br />discussing this issue. Mr. Ollendorff said Ralph Bowser, the president of the Historical <br />Society had asked him for six complete sets of the final draft of the study and that he, <br />Mr. Ollendorff, would include the Historical Society in the future. Ms. Welsch corrected <br />him by pointing out that he was discussing the Historical Society and not the Historic <br />Preservation Commission. Mr. Ollendorff then said the Historic Preservation <br />Commission's last action was the one he described earlier and that he would attend <br />their meeting tomorrow evening to explain the ballot proposal. Ms. Brot explained that <br />no Historic Preservation Commission meeting was held during the month of July. <br /> <br />Ms. Glickert, 6712 Etzel Avenue, said that to her knowledge there is no "cross <br />membership" of the Historical Society and the Historic Preservation Commission. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brot <br />and Mayor Adams; Mr. Wagner and Ms. Brungardt did not vote due to absence; NAYS: <br />none. Bill number 8729 passed and became Ordinance number 6497. <br /> <br />BILL 8730 - VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF APPLETON <br />DRIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY BETWEEN 1352 AND 1400 COOLIDGE DRIVE IN THE <br />DARTSDALE SUBDIVISION, BUT RESERVING A TEN-FOOT WIDE <br />WALKWAY AND ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT <br />THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF <br />DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. <br /> <br />The Bill was given its second reading. <br />The Bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved approval and Mr. Sharpe seconded. The roll call vote was as <br />follows: AYES: Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brot, Ms Welsch and Mayor Adams; Mr. <br />Wagner and Ms. Brungardt did not vote due to absence; NAYS: none.
