Unit Cost $6.75 ton Total $3,375.00 It is recommended that this bid be accepted for the City's estimated requirement of 500 tons. (This year's price from the same supplier was $4.10 per ton). CONSIDERATION OF BIDS FOR TRAP ROC~ (!3) Four suppliers were invited to bid on the City's 1979-80 requirements, estimated at 600 tonss for trap rock. Two suppliers responded, as follows: Unit Cost Total Cost Breckenridge Material Company $13.00/ton $ 7,800.00 Crawford Trucking Company 14.26/ton 8,556.00 The administrative forces recommend that the bid from Breckenridge Material Company be accepted. (The same supplier furnished trap rock at $11.00 per ton this year.) CONSIDERATION OF BIDS FOR TORPEDO GRAVEL (#4) Invitations to bid on the City's 1979-80 requirements for torpedo gravel, estimated at 800 tons, were sent to three sources in the St. Louis area, with one response re- ceived: Breckenridge Material Company Unit Cost $8.35 ton Total $6,680 The administrative forces recommend that this bid be accepted. (This year's price from the same supplier was $5.05 per ton.)
