Session 1223, Minutes <br />June 25, 1979 <br /> <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmen Glickert, Lie- <br />berman, Adams and l~yor Mooney. NAYS: Councilmen Sabol~ Metcalfe and Kelley. <br />Bill No. 7356 passed by a vote of four to three. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />BILL NO. 7369 - DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVE}aNT BO}~S OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY, MISSOURI, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200,000 TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />IMPROVING VARIOUS CITY STREETS. <br /> <br />The Council then took up the matter of directing the issuance of Public Improvement <br />Bonds, Series 1979A in the amount of $1,200,000 to provide funds for the purpose of <br />improving various City streets, fixing the details of said bonds, and levying an <br />annual tax to pay the interest and principal of said bonds as it shall fall due. <br /> <br />Thereupon, all members of the Council presented Bill No. 7369 being for an ordinance <br />directing the issuance of Public Improvement Bonds, Series 1979A, of the City of <br />University City, Missouri, in the amount of $1,200,000 to provide funds for the pur- <br />pose of improving various City streets, fixing the details of said bonds~ and levy- <br />ing an annual tax to pay the interest on and principal of said bonds as it shall <br />fall due. <br /> <br />On motion duly made and seconded by all members of the Council, said bill was placed <br />on its first reading, and was read in full, and was placed on file with the City <br />Clerk for public inspection. <br /> <br />CO~NTS ON RELOCATION OF WELL BABY CLINIC <br /> <br />Councilman Lieberman requested that University City officially contact the St. Louis <br />County Health Department and ask that they consider relocating the County Well Baby <br />Clinic from the Pershing Community Center to the University City Community Center <br />on a reasonable schedule that can be integrated into the Community Center's present <br />schedule. Councilman Metcalfe said she felt it might be appropriate to have input <br />first from the Pershing Community Council° Councilman Lieberman said the County <br />Health Department should be dealing with the City and not the Pershing Community <br />Council. Councilman Adams suggested that if the Pershing Community Council decides <br />that the Well Baby Clinic should not be at the Pershing Community Center any longer~ <br />the City should then invite the Clinic to move into the University City Community <br />Center. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />On motion duly made by Councilman Glickert and seconded bY Councilman Sabol, the <br />meeting thereupon adjourned at 1:20 A.M. <br /> <br />t~ury B.
