June 23, 1975 <br /> <br />TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />Consideration of Bid Proposals to Supply Concrete and Other Road Materials <br /> <br />The City has solicited bid proposals for the furnishing of its ready mixed <br />concrete, cement, marking lime, and sand needs for the fiscal year beginning <br />July 1, 1975. Bids were sent to three vendors with only Breckenridge <br />Material Company responding. It is the recommendation of the <br />administrative forces that the bid be awarded to the Breckenridge Material <br />Company. <br /> <br />Inasmuch as the contract will call for an expenditure exceeding $2500, per- <br />mission of the Council must be obtained before awarding the contract to <br />Breckenridge Material Company. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />CHARLES T.
