Special Session 1079, ~Iinutes <br />June 26, 1974 <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />Bill No. 6994 - Compensation Ordinance, continued: <br /> <br />On p8ge 5, Section 4, paragraph 2, in the sixth line, omit "the <br />work week shall be 54 hours per week straight time and 4.9 hours <br />overtime. The work week for Ambulance Drivers assigned to the <br />fire department shall be 54 hours straight time and 12 hours over- <br />time" and substitute the following language: <br /> <br />The work period is 216 hours in a twenty-eight day cycle. <br />The latter personnel shall work an average of 19.6 hours <br />overtime in this cycle. The work period for ambulance <br />drivers assigned to the fire department shall be 216 hours <br />in a twenty-eight day cycle° Ambulance drivers shall work <br />an average of 48 hours overtime in this cycle. <br /> <br />In the same section, paragraph 3, following the ~rd "weeks" in <br />the first line, add the words "or periods". <br /> <br />On page 7, section 8, last line on the page, add the words <br />"per week". <br /> <br />On page 8, subparagraph "B" in the third line add the words <br />"per week". <br /> <br />Councilman Woods moved approval of the amendments. ?~etion seconded by <br />Councilman Weissenburger and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Bill No. 6994 As Amended was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 6994 As Amended was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Councilman Werner moved that Bill I~o. 6994 As Amended be adopted as an <br />ordinance. Motion seconded by Councilman I~eissenburger. Upon roll call, <br />the following vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmen Lieberman, !{oods, Werner, <br />Weissenburger, Glickert and ~ayor Kaufman. NAYS: None. ABSENT: Councilman <br />Gri~n.
