<br />APPF. OVAL OF 1969 70 BUDGET:
<br />City !.~nager Henry stated the proposed 1969-70 Budget was presented about
<br />the 1st of June and there appear to be numerous proposals and changes which
<br />come about as a result of discussion.; with the Council, the public hearing
<br />and suggestions from various people. ~ir. V. A. Ellman, Director of Finance,
<br />was requested to read the changes being recommended as an amendment to the
<br />1969-70 budget:

<br />Page C-5 Director of Personnel - the salary is changed to $909
<br />Page C-10 Director of L&w - the salary is changed to $809
<br />Page C-10 Assistant Director of Law-- the salary is changed to $575
<br />Page C-10 Clerks of Court (per Session) - $10 per session, a total of $2,220
<br />Page C 32 Director of Finance - the salary is changed to $1,406
<br />Page C-12 1 Clerk City Court (per meeting) at $10
<br />Page C-15 1 Custodian I (8 months) the salary is changed to $388
<br />Page C-21 Chief of Police - the salary is changed to $1,155
<br />Page C-24 Fire Chief - the salary is changed to $1,155
<br />Page C-28 Director of Public llorks - the salary is changed to $1,274
<br />Page C-33 Director of Planning - the salary is changed to $1,213
<br />Page C-36 14 Equipment Operators at $494, total $82,992
<br /> 18 Collectors (Sanitation) at $470, total $101,520
<br /> 2 Equipment Operators II for Six l.lonths at $546, total $6,552
<br /> 1 Equipment Operator II for Six ~-~nths at $494, total $2964
<br /> 2 Collectors (Sanitation) for Six I~[onths at $470, total $5,640
<br /> 6 Collectors (Sanitation) Four Months at $447, total $10,728

<br />The provision for salary adjustment on Page C-41 would be downward $1,141.
<br />
<br />On Page C-.2 Dues and Memberships is changed to $3,700, an increase of $800
<br />On Page C--29 Streets & Sidewalk Repairs and liaintenance, the figure is
<br /> changed to $14,700, an increase of $4,700
<br />On Page C-35 Rent of Central Garage Equipment, the new figure will be
<br /> $70,150 - $2,950 do%m
<br />On Page C-40 Agricultural Supplies, the new figure is $7,000 a reduction
<br /> of $1,000
<br />On Page C-15 Buildings is reduced by $6,000
<br />On Page C-45 Agricultural & Horticultural Equipment, there will be a re-
<br /> duction of $2,500
<br />On Page C-55 Contingent Appropriation is increased from $25,000 to $40,000
<br />
<br />Revenue Chanaes that accompany this budget will show an increase on Page
<br />B-6 of Golf Course revenue up to $90,000, an increase of $8,000
<br />
<br />The Prior Years Revenue (Page B-8) will be changed to $230,522
<br />
<br />The new Budget Tota3 ~.~,ill be $3,628,072.
<br />
<br />Mr. Ellman said ~hare will also be accompanying this, to implement the
<br />transfer stztio~ and ~efuse transactions, Central Garage revisions:

<br />On Page C-62 Fire & Extended Coverage Insurance will now read $130, up $50
<br />On Page C-62 Liability & Property Damage Insurance ~.~11 now read $220, up $50
<br />On Page C-62 Automobile Insurance, $6,700, up $200
<br />On Page C-62 Depreciation, $62,900, up $5,150
<br />On Page C-62 Interest on Loans, $3,600 - up $3,600
