Additionally Gamma employs an arborist who has been
certified by the International Arborist Society in compliance with our draft tree ordinance.
For these reasons, Mr. Ollendorff recommends awarding the contract to Gamma Tree
Service for their bid of $27,720.

Item Two: Replacement of Transfer Station Buildinq and Shed

Invitations to Bid were sent to four contractors for subject requirement. Valley Park
Welding withdrew their bid due to unforeseen complications on December 15, 2004.
The City Manager requested City Council approval of his December 16 emergency
action accepting the Commonwealth bid of $41,430 in order that the work could begin
on a timely basis. Budget estimate was $50,000.

Item Three: Settin.q Public Hearinq on 8041 Olive Blvd. Liquor License

Mr. Ollendorff recommended setting January 31 at 6:30 p.m. in these Council
Chambers as the time and place for a hearing on the application for a license to sell all
types of package liquor at the grocery store at this address. Public hearing notices will
be sent to all residential and commercial addresses within 500' of this location. The
voluntary site plan designating liquor display areas will be on the City Council agenda
for review at that meeting.

Page 6
