Session 1725, Minutes <br />June 8, 1998 <br /> <br />Wholesale, non-retail and non-restaurant sales shall not exceed 50% of the <br />gross receipts for the entire business measured over the course of one year of <br />operation. Records shall be maintained in a manner to reflect the differing <br />sources of income. The owner shall make the records available for the City's <br />examination at the City's discretion. <br />The soup canning operation shall be terminated if the restaurant is closed or <br />ceases to operate for any reason. <br />The outdoor seating area shall be maintained in good condition at all times. <br />Chairs and tables shall not be stored outdoors during seasons when the area is <br />not in use. <br />Signs on the premises shall conform in all respects with the provisions of the <br />University City Sign Code. <br />The operator of the restaurant shall regularly police the site and the area <br />adjacent to the restaurant to remove litter and debris. <br />Trash containers for patron use shall be available on the premises at all times. <br />Adequate refuse disposal shall be provided by and for the business. The refuse <br />containers and surroundings shall be maintained in a clean condition. <br />An exhaust system shall be installed and/or other means shall be taken to <br />prevent any food preparations odors or cooking odors from being perceptible <br />beyond the lot lines of the property on which the restaurant is located. The <br />exhaust system shall be maintained in a clean condition by regularly scheduled <br />cleaning of the system. <br />The hours of operation shall be limited those between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />This business will be a fine addition to the Delmar Loop Business District. Should <br />revisions in the above conditions prove necessary in the future, the applicant may apply <br />for further review. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer welcomed Mr. Saigh and his good reputation to the Loop. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #8: CONDITIONAL USE - ONE MCKNIGHT PLACE: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff concurs with the unanimous Plan Commission recommendation that the <br />conditional use permit amendment be approved for a 53 apartment addition to this <br />outstanding retirement residence. Several conditions recommended by the Plan <br />Commission have been met and are, therefore, not listed, but included rezoning, open <br />space requirements, setback study, interim parking plan and boundary requirement <br /> <br /> <br />
