Mr. Wagner secorrled the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />roBLIC HEARING - ZONING AMENI:MENr <br /> <br />'!he City Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this date <br />and place to consider conunents on a proPOSed amendment to the zoning Code <br />that would add. blood banks to the list of corrlitional uses in General Commer- <br />cial Districts. Following the hearing, Council may wish to request prepara- <br />tion of an appropriate bill. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. '!here were no requests <br />to SPeak, am the Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams asked. that a bill be prepared that follows the recarmnerrlations of <br />the Plan Conunission. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman said bcx:ly parts and bcx:lily fluids were not included in the Plan <br />Conuuission I s draft amendment, and she asked for that inclusion. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus asked that any other changes or additions be given to the City <br />Attorney i.mnediately, since all want to have this legislation go into effect. <br /> <br />FUBLIC HEARING - PROPERlY TAX RATE <br /> <br />'!he City Manager said state lavl1 requires the adjustment of tax rates in con- <br />junction with property reassessment, and a public hearing was scheduled at <br />this time to rea~ive conunents.
