'!he Plan Commission reconunended unani.m:ll1sly that the <br />proposed changes be approved for a six-month trial period, ani that "Sold" <br />signs be allowed for any seven days. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern MaIns opened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Rudy Kaufman, 7129 Cornell, a real estate agent, said llSold" signs show <br />that University City property is desirable ani sells quickly. He said the <br />original purpose of the City's real estate laws was to prevent flight from <br />the City but that was no longer necessary. Proposed location of exterior trash receptacles shall be suJ:mitted to the <br />Director of Planning for his review ani approval before an oca.JPCU1CY per- <br />mit for the restaurant is issued. SUch receptacles shall be located ani <br />maintained in acx::ordance with such approval. <br />2. Signs shall be limited to open letter signs ani shall strictly confonn <br />with the regulations set forth in the University city Sign Ccxle. <br />3.
