<br />Session 1546, Minutes <br />June 3, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />It was recarmnerrled that Model MOPE carts (not to exceed 6,000) with a 10-year <br />warranty be purchased fram Ameri-Kart Corp., the City's current supplier, for <br />$49.70 for 90 gallon, and $47.70 for 60 gallon. '!be price is slightly lower <br />than it was previously. '!his purchase will allow the expansion of the cart <br />system to about 3/4 of all sin;Jle family service in the next fiscal year. <br /> <br />Mr. Price m:::wed approval, and Mr. Wagner secorx:led the notion. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman said several citizens suggested the carts currently bein;J used <br />would not last IlDre than one season, and she asked if there had been problems. <br />Mr. Ollerx:lorff said two broken lids were reported and several axles were bent <br />and needed repair. Mrs. Schuman asked that citizens be infonned that 60 gal- <br />lon containers are available, since same residents prefer a smaller size.
