SESSION 1537 MINUI'ES OF THE UNIVERSITY' CITY CDUNCIL February 25, 1991 At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the As- sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, February 25, 1991, Mayor Janet Majerus presided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Byron R. Price Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. Mr. Robert G. Wagner Mrs. Mary V. Schmnan Mr. Paul E. Schoomer Mrs. Betty L. 'Ihompson Also present were City Manager Frank Ollendorff and Washington University student liaison Christine Mueller. MINUTES Mr. Wagner moved that the minutes of February 4, 1991 be approved as submit- ted. Mr. Price seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. AProIN'IMENT. REAProINIMENTS Mayor Majerus moved the appointment of Ms. Nancy Kollmar, 6945 Melrose, to the Municipal conunission on Arts and Letters for a tenn expiring January 2, 1995. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mr. Schoomer moved that Ms. Carolyn Hellmuth, 7186 Delmar, and Ms. Maryam N. Payvar, 8333 Gannon, be reappointed to the Traffic Commission for terms ex- piring January 21, 1994. Mrs. Schmnan seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. Mr. Wagner moved the reappointments of Ms. Sharon Saffitz, 329 Westgate, Mr. Johnny Moore, 8101 Milan, and Ms. Hazel El:by, 8340 Fullerton, to the Munici- pal conunission on Arts and Letters for terms expiring January 2, 1995. Mrs. Schmnan seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mrs. 'Ihorrg;>son moved that Ms. Betty Jean Coleman, 1413 Forest Green, and Mr. Bennie Bondurant, 1445 Mendell, be reappointed to the Commission on Hmnan Re- lations for terms expiring August 6, 1992, and August 6, 1993, respectively. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mr. Price moved the reappointments of Ms. Melissa Kreishman, 6916 Watennan, and Mr. Carl Safe, 6921 Watennan, to the City Plan Commission for terms ex- piring January 1, 1994. Mrs. Schmnan seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. OATH OF OFFICE Dr. Jerrold lander, recently reappointed to the Park commission, was given the oath of office by the City Clerk.
