Mr. Schoomer moved. that <br />the resolution be approved, arrl Mrs. Schuman seconded. the motion. All voted. <br />Aye. The Mayor said the city Clerk will send a copy to the School District. <br /> <br />CDUNCIIMEMBER cn1MENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman canplimented. the University City Residential Service on the ex- <br />cellent home in1provement loan infornational brochure that was circulated. re- <br />cently, addi.n;J that it's an exerrplary program arrl she was glad to see that it <br />was being promoted. in this manner. <br /> <br />Mr. Price said the Residential Service will be holding an open house on Feb- <br />ruary 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer expressed reqret at the death of Mrs. Helen Henry, wife of for- <br />mer City Manager Olarles Henry, who was with the City for many years. . other <br />councilmembers concurred. with Mr. Schoomer' s remarks. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams said it was noted. at the last Intel:governmental Relations Commis- <br />sion meeting that the state was nCM requiring Missouri municipalities to ask <br />for infornation in their bid procedures which confinns that bidders are up to <br />date on their state taxes. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus reminded. Council that fonns required by the new' state ethics <br />legislation should be kept for future use. Mr. Adams said members of the <br />Intel:governmental Relations Commission were unanilnous in their belief that <br />this legislation should be thrown out. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus also reminded. Council of the study session scheduled. for Satur- <br />day, February 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Library Board Room. <br /> <br />ADJOORNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus adjourned. the meeting at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />
