<br />SESSION 1535 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY CXJUNCIL <br /> <br />January 21, 1991 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the As- <br />sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, January 21, 1991, Mayor Janet Majerus <br />presided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary v. Schuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Betty L. Thompson. <br /> <br />City Manager Frank Ollendorff was also present, as was Washington University <br />student representative Chris Mueller. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the January 7, 1991 minutes as submitted. Mr. <br />Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OA'lHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Barbara Romero and Mr. Miles cramer, newly appointed to the Arts and Let- <br />ters Commission and the Pension Boards, respectively, were given the oath of <br />office by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Romero and Mr. cramer for volunteering their time <br />and expertise, and said Council depends greatly on the reconnnendations and <br />advice given by the city's boards and connnissions. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus was pleased to announce the names of those who will se:rve on <br />the City's Task Force for Resource Conservation. She said there were many <br />applications, and choosing among them was very difficult. '!he chair will be <br />Joseph Eigner, and the members are Linda Ardakani, Kathleen Dmn, Hyman Eis- <br />enberg, Ellen Greenberg, Susan Hopper, Brian Kalcic, Peter Kerth, Jerome Koc- <br />zan, Teresa Kragnes, Donald lamkin, Eddie Littlejohn, John Illczszynski, and <br />Wayne Munkel. '!hey will meet soon to elect officers, and their work will be <br />finished in approximately a year. There will be periodic reports, she said, <br />and the city Manager will be their official liaison to the Council. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REroRI'S <br /> <br />SITE PIAN - NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />The city Manager recorrnnended approval of a site plan for office use at 8129 <br />
